o9 Solutions Signs The Climate Pledge
o9 Solutions announced that it has joined Amazon’s Climate Pledge and will be targeting net zero emissions by 2040.
The AI software platform provider agreed to measure and report its emissions and implement decarbonization strategies across its business. The Pledge also stipulates that signatories will neutralize any remaining emissions with quantifiable offsets.
o9 first agreed to measure its carbon footprint when it committed to Science Based Targets in 2019 and will continue to do via a carbon accounting tool on its platform. The company will also establish carbon emissions reduction targets by May 2023.
