Voya Financial Lowers Emissions

Voya Financial announced that over 27,000 pounds of carbon dioxide and more than 20,000 gallons of water were saved from its Earth Week challenges. In addition, more than 1,600 pounds of waste was diverted from landfills.

The bank recently established an Enterprise ESG Steering Committee, comprising executive leaders who are responsible for enterprise ESG management and reporting.

Voya's hybrid-work program enabled the company to open positions around the country and reduce office space to operate more efficiently. The company published these details and more in its 2022 Impact Report.

“Our impact report reflects our collective commitment across Voya to fulfill our purpose — Together we fight for everyone’s opportunity for a better financial future — by making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are touched by our business,” said Heather Lavallee, CEO of Voya Financial, Inc., in a statement. “Thanks to our people, we are well-positioned to accelerate the positive difference we can make in the world together.”

Voya’s 2022 Impact Report was prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.
