Smart Energy Decisions (SED) announces a series of general sessions and roundtables for the upcoming Net Zero Forum Spring, set for April 21-23 at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa near Austin, Texas.

“Buyers have entered the new year eager to move forward with clean energy goals and energy efficiency initiatives,” noted Wes Doane, Vice President of Diversified Communications’ Clean Energy Group. “Meetings with solution providers, educational sessions, and peer-to-peer connections made at Net Zero Forum Spring will help turn their plans into actions.”

Educational sessions will open with “Navigating Load Growth and Emission Goals,” presented by Luke Penne, Senior Business Development Manager with Constellation’s Solutions team, and Hallie Carrao, Technical Program Manager at Google.  These experts will highlight innovative strategies they are implementing to enhance energy efficiency and integrate carbon-free sources, including the importance of collaboration to achieve sustainable energy goals.

Trane® by Trane Technologies will present “Stop Saying You Can’t Find Money for Energy & Sustainability Projects.” Trevor Joelson, Enterprise Energy Service Account Executive, will challenge the notion that funding for decarbonization projects is out of reach. The session will explore strategies for building a compelling business case to guide projects from ideation to implementation.

“Leading the Charge: Creating a Sustainable Future with Data Centers” will feature Miranda Gardiner, Executive Director, iMasons Climate Accord and a panel of data center practitioners to discuss how to create sustainable data centers of the future. The session will outline ways global and local issues play into public sustainability targets — from regulatory considerations and industry collaboration efforts to reducing Scope 3 emissions and efficient resource use.

“Sustainability in Sports and Entertainment Venues” will be presented by Bill Squires, Board Member of the Green Sports Alliance, along with a panel of sustainability practitioners from this sector to discuss current trends in energy, water, and waste management in the sports and entertainment venue management industry.

Smart Energy Decisions will also feature a series of Roundtables as part of the Forum. This intimate, topic-driven educational format offers a unique opportunity for energy customers to connect with a small group of subject matter experts and peers for insightful conversations on key industry topics. The Roundtables will be led by experts from Atrius, Constellation, and Trane. More roundtable sessions will be added to the agenda in coming weeks.

The event marks the return of SED’s signature 1:1 meetings, which allow energy customers to engage in personalized pre-scheduled meetings with experienced energy suppliers who have been carefully pre-evaluated for their specialized expertise and availability. These discussions provide a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights, discuss tailored solutions, and build strategic partnerships.
