Hexatronic Group, a Swedish fiber solutions company, announced that the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated its science-based climate targets for 2030 that will contribute to the transition to a low-carbon future.

The Hexatronic Group commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year and reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services and upstream transportation and distribution by 51.6% per million SEK value added within the same timeframe.

By aiming to reduce emissions across the value chain, Hexatronic says it is driving positive change throughout the industry. The company’s efforts to cut Scope 3 emissions, which include those from purchased goods and services and upstream transportation, demonstrate Hexatronic’s dedication to comprehensive climate action.
