Midstream operator Kinetik Holdings announced it reduced Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG and methane emissions intensities by 14% and 50% respectively from a 2021 baseline.

Midstream operator Kinetik Holdings announced it reduced Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG and methane emissions intensities by 14% and 50% respectively from a 2021 baseline.

The company continued to outperform 2030 methane intensity reduction target of 30%, achieving its targeted reduction six years ahead of schedule, according to its 2024 Sustainability Report.

Kinetik also entered into a long-term agreement with Infinium to supply CO2 as feedstock for ultra-low carbon electrofuels at Infinium’s Project Roadrunner facility, which is currently under construction.

The company received approval from the Environmental Protection Agency for a Monitoring, Reporting and Verification Plan for three Class II Acid Gas Injection wells.

The Report was prepared in reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and the Energy Infrastructure Council (EIC)/GPA Midstream Association Reporting Framework.
