Yanfeng, a Chinese global automotive supplier, announced that 42% of its global energy was sourced from renewables, with solar contributing 4.2%.
The company is on track for its net-zero emissions target (Scope 1 and 2) by 2030 and is embedding sustainability into product development with recyclable materials and modular designs, according to its 2024 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report.
The report showcases significant progress by the company across its sustainability initiatives, including renewable energy adoption, circular economy practices and social responsibility programs.
Yanfeng also announced a 31% increase in recycled plastic resin purchases. The company maintained an A- CDP rating for climate disclosure and earned an EcoVadis Silver Medal.
