Phillips 66 Advanced Energy Efficiency Initiatives

Phillips 66, a diversified energy producer, advanced energy-efficiency initiatives and building the “refinery of the future” through investments in renewable fuels production at the Rodeo Renewed refinery in California, which is currently under construction, and the Humber Refinery in the U.K.

The company also prioritized investments and growth opportunities that use its existing portfolio to further its lower-carbon initiatives.

Phillips 66 reported progress toward its 2030 and 2050 GHG emissions intensity reduction targets. In 2022, the manufacturing and product emissions intensity improved by 8% and 3%, respectively from 2019 levels. This progress is a result of portfolio changes, enhanced refining utilization and renewable fuels blending.

Details were provided in its 2023 Sustainability Report.
