Ingersoll Rand Commits to 2050 Goals
Ingersoll Rand Inc., a global provider of mission-critical flow creation and industrial solutions, signed the Science Based Targets initiative’s (SBTi) Commitment Letter, which demonstrates its dedication to defining a path to net-zero emissions by 2050.
The company will provide innovative products and services that offer efficiency, circularity and safety to help customers meet their sustainability goals and will also cater to high-growth, sustainable markets such as renewable energy, water and wastewater management, food and beverage as well as the life sciences sector.
Ingersoll Rand plans to leverage the rigorous approach of Ingersoll Rand Execution Excellence (IRX) to achieve substantial energy and GHG reductions within its own operations and continue the company’s steady progress toward achieving its 2030 climate, water and waste management targets.
Details were published its 2022 Sustainability Report, “Progress Powered by Sustainable Performance.”

Ingersoll Rand’s 2022 Sustainability Report was prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Standards and is aligned with the Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB) requirements, Task Force for Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the U.N. Global Compact framework.
