The RMR Group Lowers Emissions by 35%

The RMR Group, an alternative asset management company focused on commercial real estate, lowered its GHG emissions by 34.7%, energy consumption by 28.3%, and reduced energy consumption and water usage by 15.1% from a 2019 baseline.

The company also expanded its building certifications including a 25% year-over-year increase in the number of properties achieving LEED certification and received the first BOMA 360 Industrial certification awarded in the State of Hawaii.

Details were provided in its 2022 Annual Sustainability Report, which outlines the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies of RMR and its clients, including Service Properties Trust, Diversified Healthcare Trust, Office Properties Income Trust, Industrial Logistics Properties Trust, Seven Hills Realty Trust, TravelCenters of America Inc., AlerisLife Inc., and Sonesta International Hotels Corporation.
