The Pleasanton Unified School District in Pleasanton, Calif. will utilize solar plus energy storage solutions to significantly cut its emissions and save on energy costs. The project will include the installation of 1 megawatt (MW) of solar carports and a 660 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery energy storage system.

Marking the largest commitment to solar energy in Maryland and one of the most significant pledges to GHG emissions reduction in higher education, Johns Hopkins University has entered into a 15-year agreement to supply its campuses with more than 250,000 megawatt-hours of solar power per year.

Walmart has reached an agreement to subscribe to 36 of US Solar's community solar gardens located throughout the state of Minnesota. Ground has been broken for a solar array project at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center’s Wallops Flight Facility (NASA WFF) in Wallops Island, Virginia. The project will meet at least 80% of the site’s electrical consumption once complete.

Bank of America announced the expansion of its environmental operations efforts to include the installation of solar panels across multiple locations through its Onsite Solar Initiative.
