New York school district advances second phase of energy installations
The Wappingers Central School District in New York began work Aug. 12 on the second phase of an energy infrastructure project that will include energy conservation measures at 14 buildings and 1.9 MW of solar panels at five buildings to reduce annual utility costs.

Toyota plans three new on-site solar projects
Toyota announced Aug. 11 that they are installing a total of 4.95 MW of solar panels across their plants in Alabama, Missouri and West Virginia in a move that is expected to offset 6,480,000 kWh of energy and 4,304 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.
